Responsibilities:
• Prepares individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns
• Prepares 1099-MISC, business licenses, and payroll returns
• Identifies issues and tax planning opportunities during tax return preparation
• Performs book-keeping services for our clients
• Processes and records payroll transactions
• Prepares payroll tax return and annual information returns
• Compiles and analyzes financial information
• Prepares balance sheet, income statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position
• Assists with auditing and review assignments
• Researches complex federal and state tax issues as needed
• Assists and performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
• Have worked in a CPA firm for at least one year
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Client service oriented
